San Jose, Costa Rica. June 3, 2021 - The US and digital tech company, Mismo, announced its growth in Costa Rica with the hiring of more than 40 software engineers this year. The news comes after recently relaunching its brand and celebrating 11 years in the country.

Its evolution goes hand in hand with the dynamism of the sector to which it belongs, the knowledge-based services sector, whose exports reached US$ 5 billion in 2020, in the first year of the pandemic, and with an average annual growth of 17% in the last two decades. Likewise, this development is reflected in a wide portfolio of more than 75 corporate processes that are carried out from Costa Rica to the world, in different languages, and that demonstrate the adaptability of Costa Rican talent to be part of a digital, global labor market.”

About Mismo
The company began as a means of solving hiring and administrative problems that startups must retain high-quality engineers; problems that the founders of Mismo, Forum Desai, and Jinal Jhaveri, knew very well about.

Because of this, they decided to change an inefficient way of hiring by creating a platform that could provide established professionals as fully integrated teams with access to the skills and benefits of the latest technology, such as health insurance and technology support. As its name suggests, Mismo’s mission is to deliver an easy and efficient way where new hires become equal to older members.

When a company seeks to hire, the Mismo platform matches them with top-level candidates previously screened to fill the job, streamline the interview, and contract processes, as well as assist with onboarding, including handling pay, benefits, and employee needs. compliance, technology infrastructure, and performance measurement.
