Huntsman Entrusts Costa Rica With Higher-Complexity Functions, Creating New Career Opportunities

Costa Rica. August 10th, 2026. Huntsman's operation in Costa Rica has moved from performing support tasks to influencing global decisions for the chemical multinational and is now adding new openings in more specialized areas. The Costa Rica center is one of three Global Business Services (GBS) centers the company operates worldwide, alongside Kuala Lumpur and Krakow, and it supports the company's corporate and business functions on a global scale.

Located in America Free Zone (AFZ) in Heredia, the center has moved beyond accounting, finance, and customer service to take on responsibilities in data analytics, process automation, artificial intelligence, demand planning, logistics, and inventory management. Today, decisions on demand planning, inventory monitoring, logistics coordination, and the administration of transportation and warehousing providers, all of which affect the global operation of the business, are supported from Costa Rica.
