More than 200 Participants Discussed HR and Talent Acquisition Trends in Costa Rica

• CINDE organized the fifth edition of the HR andamp; Talent Acquisition Forum. International and local speakers discussed ideas about global trends in talent development, in the knowledge economy.
San José, Costa Rica. August 30th, 2019. More than 200 human talent managers, leaders of multinational companies attracted by CINDE, and specialists in human development participated during the two-day HR andamp; Talent Acquisition Forum. International and local experts discussed global trends in human talent management.

Costa Rica has more than 300 multinational companies that create 106,000 direct jobs, that are under the highest international human resources standards. These companies need to constantly keep up with the latest HR trends in order to give Costa Ricans the best working conditions.

The congress had speakers from Coursera, PwC, Microvention, Scotiabank, IBM, Mckinsey andamp; Company, LinkedIn, and multiple national leaders that discussed topics such as: future skills and profile of the working force, labor challenges in the digital transformation, how to improve reskilling plans in the companies, trends in human management, retaining talent, diversity and inclusion, among others.

CINDE’s Managing Director, Jorge Sequeira, said that “year after year, this event has consolidated as a window of excellency to discuss the most innovative topics for human talent management and human attraction. The quality of the speakers and the talks have opened a high-level discussion among the representatives of multinational companies established in Costa Rica, which, last year, represented 31% of the country’s formal workforce.”

The venue of the event was at the Intercontinental Hotel, in San José, Costa Rica. The forum included plenary sessions, as well as workshops according to selected specialization areas. CINDE organizes this forum for fifth consecutive year.
