CSS Corp Costa Rica to Hire 500 IT Professionals

Costa Rica. May 18, 2021. CSS Corp, a leading Information Technologies (IT) services and technical support company from India, will add 500 new positions to their current Costa Rican operations, which employ more than 860 people.

Last year, the company announced that it had hired 100 additional employees. And, thanks to international business consolidation and the Costa Rican team's excellent operational response, the company has decided to expand local employment over the next six months.

Carlos Alvarado, the President of the Republic, shared that, according to the 2020 Global Talent Competitiveness Index, Costa Rica ranks second in Latin America for human talent – and the basis for CSS's announcement regarding the creation of 500 new quality jobs.

President Alvarado added that the Costa Rican government has reaffirmed its commitment to creating conditions that further strengthen the country's ability to attract greater foreign direct investment so that "more and more people, in all regions, have access to good jobs and better opportunities for self-improvement and family".

Jayagopi Andhoor, CSS Corp Country Manager and Vice President, commented, "Costa Rica offers us the platform for technological convergence and human talent trained to respond to the new demands of Industry 4.0. Costa Rica's value proposition of people, planet, and prosperity adequately complement the development strategy that our company advances globally.”

Andrés Valenciano, the Minister of Foreign Trade, emphasized, "Even though the pandemic has represented enormous challenges for across the board, Costa Rica focused its response capacity on resilience and reinvention under a new context. As an example of this, in Costa Rica, 98% of services companies kept normal operations.”

He added, “Today, we are very happy at the news of CSS Corp's company growth; they are a benchmark in IT services and technical support worldwide. Their expansion confirms and highlights the country's exceptional efforts and how well Costa Rican human talent has adjusted to market requirements. We wish CSS Corp every success and we hope that we will continue to grow together."

Jorge Sequeira, Managing Director of CINDE, commented, “Costa Rica has become the technological epicenter of Latin America for companies leading the digital transformation at a global level. Thanks to Costa Rican human talent, operations related to cloud computing, big data, the internet of things, process automation, and artificial intelligence can today take the lead for development processes in information technologies. CSS Corp one of these companies: a robust cluster of digital technologies and services that converge with technological manufacturing companies to develop the kind of integrated solutions that the industry so needs and that, in 2020, reached service exports close to US$5 billion.”

The company will seek new hires with B2+ English language skills, a minimum of one year of experience in technical support, and TAC/business security.

People interested in applying for one of the company's positions may do so through the JobLink multilingual talent fair, which will open its doors from May 17 to 28. For more information, please see www.joblink.cr

In 2013, CSS Corp opened its first Latin American service center in Costa Rica to provide multilingual technical support throughout the region and globally in response to growing customer demands.
