Concentrix Celebrates 10th Anniversary in Costa Rica with Plans to Double Capacity
New building will double capacity
San José, July 15, 2015—On its tenth anniversary celebration in Costa Rica, Concentrix announced plans to more than double its capacity by building a new, state of the art campus. Construction should be complete by May 2016.
"Celebrations like the one that brings us together today in Concentrix are a source of deep pride and satisfaction, because the enabling environment renders a testimony of what our country offers to investors interested in developing and growing successfully. Also, they showcase the further positive evolution that the service sector in Costa Rica has experienced through the years, which is a direct result of the qualified human resource that we have to play multiple business functions with world class excellence ". said the Minister of Foreign Trade, Alexander Mora, who also stressed the importance of continuing to work hard in the continuous strengthening of the capacity of our human capital, and ensuring technical and academic training that will enable our workforce to take opportunities in the market as valuable as this.
"Costa Rica has been key for both overall growth of Concentrix in Latin America and our support of our clients globally,” said Chris Caldwell, Concentrix President. “We started with a small operation that has grown significantly to more than 1,000 staff currently. Costa Rica is one of our strategic global centers, and we have been leading regional Latin America initiatives from the center here for quite some time."
Manfred Kissling, Vice President of Latin America, attributes the company’s success in part to the hard work and commitment of the entire staff. “I encourage everyone at Concentrix to think of ourselves in the same manner as the national soccer team at the World Cup in Brazil—that is, to ‘wear the company´s colors’ and build a better company that supports our clients with winning world class performance. All of us working together are passionate about progressing in our own professional careers, and improving business outcomes for our clients. At the same time, we’re proud and honored to be helping to develop Costa Rica itself."
“The availability of Costa Ricans with multilingual abilities is one of the key factors that allow for the growth of services companies,” said Jorge Sequeira, CINDE Director General. “Because of that, it is of vital importance that more people study a second and even a third language. Today we congratulate Concentrix, a pioneer in the services sector, for its growth and consolidation in Costa Rica.”
Concentrix is currently looking for talent to provide Technical Support and Customer Service functions in English, Spanish and French.
