CINDE Enables Platform with Permanent Job and Internship Opportunities and Information for Improving Candidate Profiles

San Jose, Costa Rica. July 3, 2024. is now being introduced as a platform available 24/7 to help people who are looking for work or new job opportunities or need to improve their profile in accordance with the country’s fastest growing industries. At the same time, it has also become a highly effective tool to help companies find people for openings they are seeking to fill throughout the year.
Created by CINDE, this free tool continually brings together national talent and leading companies that have set up in the country.
“We remain highly focused on facilitating opportunities for Costa Ricans with formal, quality employment alternatives. We have listened to many of the companies we help and especially to candidates in order to take advantage of the features of, a platform we use in the country’s most prestigious multilingual job fair. This time, though, it goes beyond a job fair and serves for companies to continually announce their openings throughout the year,” said Vanessa Gibson, CINDE”s Investment Climate director.
Gibson also added, “This makeover is an effort to improve the experience of those with need of a job. What does the employment platform offer to candidates?
The platform offers job, internship, and practicum opportunities, tools for improving candidate profiles, and updated information on the technical and professional areas of greatest demand, all on the same website.
“We help candidates with remote recruitment by providing them with filters by area of interest, modality, language, experience, and company,” affirmed Gibson. is the fruit of CINDE’s experience with multinationals joined together with academic partnerships for providing updated employability recommendations on a single site. 
The section on profile improvement gives the top ten careers in greatest demand (Mejorá tu Perfil – Carreras con Mayor Demanda) in the corporate services, life sciences, and manufacturing fields. In this same section, users will find recommendations on how to become more competitive, what technical and strategic skills to develop, and options for improving their English.
Internships and Jobs
For those looking for their first job experience, the website has a section on internships (Pasantías) that presently lists more than 50 available openings with the potential for increasingly more. 
A job bank section (Bolsa de Empleo) will also be adding permanent job opportunities throughout the year. At present it already lists more than 100 openings in companies such as Western Union, LSEG, Service Now, Helm 360, CWT, Acuity, Accenture, and Abbott, among others.
