Heredia, Costa Rica. June 17th, 2019. Equifax, a global data, analytics, and technology company announced today that it will hire 200 people in the upcoming weeks to become part of its 1,000-collaborator workforce.
“Equifax is undergoing the largest transformation of its recent history,” said Jairo Quiros, Vice President of Global Shared Services. “We are leveraging our Costa Rica Shared Services talent to enable the company to drive change forward. We are looking for people who can help adopt and deploy new technologies that will enable us to delight our customers and consumers worldwide.”
The recruitment process already began with multiple positions in different areas and levels. Some positions have bilingual requirements for English and French. In addition, academic degrees and/or technical certifications are a must, depending on the role.

For his part, Jorge Sequeira, Managing Director at the Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency (CINDE), highlighted Equifax’s important input as part of the digital tech sector: “Costa Rica’s high-added value services grew five times more from 2000 to 2018, going from 9% to 48.4%. In Latin America, our country leads the intensive knowledge services’ exports per capita; therefore, having more professionals in this sector opens a wide range of opportunities in our country.”
