CINDE stands out as the only investment promotion agency in Central America and the Caribbean certified by Great Place to Work

• Ranking presents the best companies to work in thanks to their vision and labor practices.
• The organization was highlighted in three categories evaluated in the 2017 study
May 25th, 2017. The Costa Rican Investment Promotion(CINDE), a private, non-profit organization in charge of promoting Costa Rica and attracting foreign direct investment into the country to generate quality and well-paid jobs. It is the only investment promotion agency in Central America and the Caribbean that has been certified by Great Place to Work (GPTW).

Great Place to Work® investigates and recognizes the best workplaces in more than 45 countries around the world, based on information from more than 10 million employees. The evaluation has been applied globally for three decades and regionally for ten years, valuing organizations in their work practices, corporate culture and staff confidence in the company, among others.

In the case of CINDE, GPTW reported that the organization stood out in three categories:
• Central American origin best places to work 2017
• 20 to 100 employees best places to work in Central America 2017
• Best places to work in Costa Rica 2017

Despite being the first time that CINDE participated, the organization approved the parameters to be considered among the best places to work, which was highlighted by GPTW as a great achievement, since many companies take years to qualify for the listing .

GPTW Institute surveyed more than 667,939 employees in 1,286 organizations in Central America and the Caribbean. GPTW uses the Trust Index and Culture Audit surveys as a methodology for assessing corporate culture and work environment. These surveys measure behaviors, conducts and work environment to determine the most desirable places to work in the world, as well as the most successful organizations in it.
