●+50 leading multinational companies in services, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, and academia will participate in Costa Rica’s top multilingual talent fair from March 6th to 8th.
●The fair will offer a new user experience focused on skills development.

San José, Costa Rica. February 5th, 2020. The 15th edition of the CINDE Job Fair will search for Costa Rican talent from March 6th to 8th in the Costa Rican Convention Center, in Heredia.

Organized by the Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency (CINDE), the fair will include more than 50 leading companies in services, advanced manufacturing, and academia. They will offer more than 3,000 positions available for the first semester of 20020. Command of the English language is a top requirement.

This year, the fair will offer a new user experience focused on developing soft skills and technical abilities that are most sought after by the labor market.

Vanessa Gibson, CINDE’s Head of Investment Climate, said: “We redesigned the fair’s user experience to have a closer approach with the participants. It will focus on the talent trends demanded in the knowledge economy, which is a challenge that we must apply to take advantage of the fourth industrial revolution. Participating companies will offer 3,000 jobs in more than 420 positions.”

Job openings are in areas such as project management, software development, computer science, systems engineering, accounting, finance, administration, financial analysis, technical support, engineering, human resources, sales, purchases, supply chain, manufacturing or production, among others.

Leading companies such as Abbott Medical ascertained in the effectiveness of CINDE Job Fair in their talent acquisition efforts. “We are a great source of employment to more than 3,500 people in our medical devices facilities in Costa Rica. We need to hire production supervisors, manufacturing engineers, quality engineers, quality technicians and students interested in internships. By working with us, you will be part of a company that is committed to helping you achieve a full life and a rewarding career,” said Andrés Flores, Abbott Medical’s Senior Talent Acquisition Manager.

Just like last year, this edition will also include the 40+ pavilion for people over 40 years old interested in readapting their professional profile and willing to reskill their abilities to best respond to the needs of the current l labor market.

How to Participate?
One of the main requirements is second language proficiency such as English, French, Italian, German, Portuguese or Mandarin. Companies will look for professional and technical personnel. Experience is not required in some cases.

Candidates must have the following requirements: be 18 years old or older; register at; apply to Idioma Internacional’s language tests; apply personally to job positions once the fair has started, and show the QR code given in the registration access.

This year, CINDE JobFair innovates by adding the French language test for the first time. As usual, English and Portuguese tests are also available.
