For me it is very important to work in this company because it is one of the few private companies in Costa Rica where you can actually do science. Before, this was only possible in a university or a government entity. I have had the opportunity to continue my studies and to grow personally and professionally”

We are a multilingualcountry

Our second language is English but we know quite a few more

We have proven to be a country with many skills. One of them is the ability to easily learn new languages. We have set a goal to become a fully bilingual country in the next decade through the Costa Rica Multilingual program. But for now we have the leading command of English in Latin America. Take a look:

And we’re taking extra actions to speak to the world:

Government Commitment

English is promoted at every level of the educational system, both at private and public institutions

instituto nacional de aprendizaje

Free language training is offered to promote language capabilities nationwide.

Universities and Private Language Institutes

Offering English, French, Italian, Mandarin, German, Portuguese, among others.

Strategic allies

CINDE holds specific programs with the private sector to improve the English learning, one of them is called “Tools for Success”.

In the quest for improvement, we focus on technical and higher education

Costa Rica’s investment in technical and higher education is yielding substantial benefits. Universities and Training Institutes produce highly trained individuals, who are sought by high tech multinational companies as their demand grows.
