CINDE congratulates Okay Industries on their new brand and ongoing commitment to manufacturing medical devices

CINDE congratulates Okay Industries, a renowned North American company, on its recent corporate rebranding, strengthening its presence and contribution to the life sciences industry.

Okay Industries Inc., a contract manufacturer of components and subassemblies for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) of medical devices worldwide, announced that as of January 2024, the company will be known as AVNA.

After 112 years of innovation in engineering and manufacturing, the company stated that it is the opportune moment to adopt a brand name reflecting its market focus entirely on medical device manufacturing. AVNA is an abbreviation for "Advanced Innovation," which is the guiding principle of the company's key strategic partnerships.

"The new name and identity align with our culture, purpose, and commitment to our customers, communities, and patients worldwide," says Jason Howey, President and CEO of Okay Industries, Inc.

"Okay Industries has been operating in Costa Rica since 2012 and has grown as part of the success story in the life sciences sector in our country. We extend our congratulations on this significant moment in strengthening the company and its outstanding passion for saving and improving lives," stated Pilar Madrigal, Director of Investment Advisory at CINDE.
