Job Link users must apply to positions, so their information is visible to companies

· Some participants complete the registration online, but leave pending the application of available position, preventing companies from accessing their information.
· Companies look for personnel who speak English, Portuguese, French, Mandarin, among others.

SAN JOSÉ, March 21st, 2018. The people participating in the first digital recruitment effort, Job Link, organized by the Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency (CINDE), must apply directly to the available positions, so companies can see their information.

When entering the virtual platform, users must perform the online registration as a first step; then, the language test and finally, apply to available positions, where companies can view their data. CINDE will not share in a generalized way the information of the users with the participating companies.

"This Friday, March 23rd will be the last day that the Job Link platform will be available. It is why we urge people who have already registered, but who for different reasons have not applied to the available positions, to do so. This will be the only way in which companies can see their data and initiate the recruitment processes effectively," explained Diana Salazar, Lead of Services of Investment Climate from CINDE.

CINDE counted during the first week that Job Link was launched that 10,000 people successfully completed their online registration process. In addition, data provided by Idioma Internacional show that 6,305 tests have been taken BELT (English) and 602 PIP (Portuguese).
