San José, January 30, 2019. If you are looking for a new job opportunity, the XIV edition of CINDE Job Fair is the place to go. Costa Rica’s most important multilingual job fair is hosted by the Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency (CINDE). The event will take place from Friday February 22 until Sunday February 24, at the Costa Rica Convention Center, in Cariari, Heredia.
The fair will bring together more than 40 multinational companies that lead the services and manufacturing technology sectors, along with academia partners. All of them are looking to fill 3,800 positions for this first trimester, in areas such as: Project Management, Software Development, IT, Accountability, Finances, Administration, Financial Analysis, Human Resources, Sales, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. Speaking a second language is a must, specially, English.
“During 14 editions, CINDE’s initiative has gathered more than 100,000 people congregating the best companies and Costa Rica’s human talent in the same place”, mentioned Jorge Sequeira, CINDE’s Managing Director.
“We have an innovative team that belongs to the transformation of top global organizations. We offer more than 50 positions in areas such as Incident Management, Contact Center, Social Media Content Moderator, Web Developer, Software Developer, Interaction Designer, Visual Designer and Paid Media, in the junior, intermediate and senior levels. Many of these positions are assigned based on the candidate’s potential, and we train them once they are hired,” said Andrea Tanzi, Global Senior Manager, Human Talent Development at Accenture.
Positions, requirements and areas of opportunity
Those interested in applying to one of the 3,800 job positions must show second language proficiency, such as: English, Portuguese, Italian, German, Chinese, and French. The companies search for professionals, technicians or operators; work experience is not mandatory.
The candidates must be 18 years old or above and need to register previously in www.cindejobfair.com
. Also, they must complete the English or Portuguese proficiency tests (if they speak those languages) sponsored by Idioma Internacional, and finally, it is required to attend personally to the fair to apply to the job positions through a QR code generated by the system once they have registered.

Schedule and transportation
CINDE Job Fair will open its doors at the Costa Rica Convention Center on Friday February 22 and Saturday February 23, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; and Sunday 24, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
A partnership with Soluciones 506 will offer free travel passes from and to the Costa Rica Convention Center. For those interested, they must download the App Soluciones 506: Cliente, where it displays the routes, schedules and service requests.
There is also public transportation available and the Convention Center has parking space, which costs 850 colones per hour. This edition will also have simultaneous activities, such as: talks and workshops. There will be a stand for 40-year-old human talent or above, that is willing to learn about new soft skills and how to promote a faster reintegration or transformation into the labor market.
