Altus is a company dedicated to provide solutions in the Information Technology (IT) area. It has an experience of over 5 years in managing regional projects supporting companies throughout the life cycle of them. It is comprised of three business units:

1. Managed Services: ALTUS manages the customer's network infrastructure, providing outsourcing resources to administer the telecommunications platform and its servers.

Additionally, to complement the network infrastructure management, services are provided for Network Operation Center (NOC) and Service Desk.

2. Collaboration: ALTUS implement IT projects that improve collaboration processes between companies and their employees, suppliers and customers. We implement solutions like Unified Communications, Customer Collaboration, Telepresence, Web Conferencing and Social Enterprise Solutions.

3. Software development: ALTUS develops network-oriented solutions like IP Telephone billing applications, call recording, IT inventory management and IP PBXs management.

The company specializations and the staff certifications has allowed ALTUS to participate on several IT projects, mainly related to Voice over IP, Video over IP Systems, Unified Communications and Collaboration. Most of these projects have been developed on Midmarket business (ranging from 250 to 1000 users) and Enterprise business (more than 1000 users), and have involved working with several customer remote offices in order to communicate them via VoIP systems.

One of the most challenging industries that ALTUS has been involved with are call centers. These customers are characterized by handling large call volume during relatively short periods. Also, by handling several customers from different world locations. ALTUS engineers have developed good troubleshooting techniques which allow them to resolve incidents as quickly as possible and with minimal business impact, because on peak hours, every minute of down time, generates a huge business impact.

In this industry, ALTUS was involved with call centers that manage remote locations at USA, UK, India and several Latin American countries (Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, México and Ecuador, among others).

Also, ALTUS has a vast experience working with industrial customers which have production plants working on a 24x7x365 scheme. This imposed that ALTUS had to manage good project management practices in order to control changes on short maintenance windows and had to develop strict SLAs to engage in incidents.


Through the Managed Services unit, ALTUS provides IT outsourcing (ITO), based on industry best practices such as ITIL:

Event Management: ALTUS provides a Network Operation Center (NOC) in a 24x7x365 schedule through which a preventive and corrective management is carried out on the network infrastructure operation. It monitors network equipment such as routers and switches, as well as servers and applications, measuring the performance, alerting operations outside normal thresholds and taking appropriate corrective actions.
Incident Management and Service Requests: ALTUS provides a Service Desk in a 24x7x365 schedule through which the incidents and service requests reported by end users are managed. These are recorded in a ticketing system through which monitoring is provided for solving the case.
Change Management: ALTUS provides specialized resources in IT and Project Management to manage the changes needed to solve problems in the IT infrastructure, system migrations and implement enhancements to the existing infrastructure.
IT Project Management: ALTUS provides specialized resources in IT an Project Management to manage the life cycle of projects, from the early stages of planning and designing, intermediate stages of implementation and operation, and maturation phases of the optimization.
Through these services, the client delegates in ALTUS managing its technology infrastructure, allowing us to handle the day to day operation of the client and releasing its resources to conceptualize the new strategic projects for the business. Our technical staff has industry certifications such as ITIL and from leading manufacturers such as Cisco and HP.
